The Division of Governmental & Community Relations serves as UTRGV’s liaison to the community by building and promoting positive relationships with federal, state and local policymakers and the public and private sectors. We partner university knowledge and resources with the assets of the community to address societal issues.
Our mission is to transform lives through engaged partnerships. Our Division encompasses Governmental Relations, Community Relations, Community Engagement and Economic Development, and Public Art. The four branches that expand, strengthen and promote our university-community partnerships in support of UTRGV’s major priorities.
